Wattway helps you find working EV chargers, plan trips and — if you choose — connect your car. This policy says plainly what we collect and what we never do.

What we collect

• Account basics — your name, email and photo from Google or Apple sign-in.
• Location, while you use the app — to show chargers near you and plan trips. We don't track you in the background.
• Your contributions — check-ins, reviews, photos and posts you choose to share.
• Connected-car data, only if you link your car — live battery, range, odometer, tyre pressures and charge history, read directly from your car maker's account.

Connected cars are read-only

When you connect a car (Mahindra Me4U, Tata iRA.ev), Wattway holds sign-in tokens encrypted at rest and uses them only to read. The connection has no ability to unlock, start, drive or pay. Disconnecting is one tap and deletes the connection and its local data.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your location or car data with advertisers.
• We never post on your behalf.

Your controls

You can disconnect a car, delete a contribution, or delete your whole account from the app's settings. For anything else, email wattway.app@gmail.com and a human will sort it out.
